Services

NHS Dentistry

We offer a comprehensive range of high quality NHS treatment in a friendly, relaxed environment. Our aim is to encourage life long preventative techniques by helping you to understand how to maintain the health of your mouth and keep it free from tooth decay and gum disease.

Gum Health

Gum disease is a very common condition where the gums become swollen, sore or infected.

Most adults in the UK have gum disease to some degree, and most people experience it at least once.

If you have gum disease, your gums may bleed when you brush your teeth and you may have bad breath. We provide hygiene services through the NHS and privately.

Fillings

White Fillings

In most situations, we can place white fillings to restore your teeth. Not only are the latest materials very strong but they also look good too.

Metal (Amalgam) Fillings

In certain situations, metal fillings are still the material of choice to restore teeth. These include very large cavities that touch the gumline.

Root Canal Treatment

Trauma оr decay оf a tooth саn result in microbial infection and inflammation into the middle of the tooth known as the pulp. In more severe cases when left untreated it can lead to аn abscess оr the slow death of a tooth.
If you are experiencing pain in your mouth or it feels tender when you chew or you have noticed discoloration of a tooth or swelling then this might be an indication that you need a root canal.

Oral surgery

The specialty of Oral Surgery deals with the diagnosis and management of pathology of the mouth and jaws that requires surgical intervention. Oral Surgery involves the treatment of children, adolescents and adults, and the management of dentally anxious and medically complex patients.

Veneers, Crowns and Bridges

Lab made restorations are an ideal way to rebuild teeth which have been broken, or have been weakened by decay or a very large filling. The crown/veneer fits right over the remaining part of the tooth, making it strong and giving it the shape and contour of a natural tooth. Bridges are fixed solutions for missing teeth.

Dental Sedation

Many people feel anxious about visiting the dentist – or avoid it completely – because they worry about experiencing pain and discomfort. Fortunately, dental sedation can help make it a less daunting experience. Sedation dentistry has become quite common over the past few years, and the various styles of dental sedation available today have made it easier for people to overcome dental anxiety and get their dental problems fixed

Childsmile

The Childsmile Practice programme is designed to improve the oral health of children in Scotland from birth by working closely with dental practices. It is being developed to provide a universally accessible child-centred NHS dental service.

Teeth Whitening

Tooth whitening is popular cosmetic treatment. As we grow older our teeth generally become naturally darker in shade. Teeth can also be made darker by our eating and drinking habits e.g. tea, coffee, red wine and cigarettes can all cause staining. However, tooth whitening is a simple, yet highly effective procedure to lighten teeth.
